Thousand Oaks, Westlake Village, and Agoura Hills are frequent travel destinations for tourists, business visitors and passing highway travelers. About halfway between Los Angeles and Santa Barbara, the communities are built along both sides of U.S. Highway 101, locally called the Ventura Freeway, one of the most-heavily traveled roads in America.
